Here’s how Candiace, Wendy, Robyn, Karen, Gizelle, Nneka, Ashley, and Mia ended things on the Season 8 finale.
Cherry blossom season has officially come to an end.
Season 8 of The Real Housewives of Potomac wrapped up on March 24, concluding what seemed like one of the toughest periods for the DMV-based ladies. Since the season 8 premiere in November 2023, viewers have witnessed Ashley Darby work through ongoing divorce, Robyn Dixon face rumors in her marriage to Juan Dixon and see the events that led up to Mia Thornton’s separation from Gordon Thornton.
In addition to the drama, we followed the health journeys of Candiace Dillard Bassett, Karen Huger, and newcomer Nneka Ihim. Plus, Dr. Wendy Osefo started a talk show, and Gizelle Bryant showed her preparation for sending her daughter Grace off to college.
Now that Season 8 of RHOP is over, we’re sharing details on where the ladies stand, as well as new life updates since the cameras stopped filming.

On Season 8, Episode 18, the RHOP cast collectivity agreed to try to “move forward like a true sisterhood” after having a mutual understanding on the drama that went down earlier in the show.
“It’s not perfect now but… we can get to a good place,” Ashley said to her castmates.
The latest on everything happening in the RHOP cast lives after the Season 8 finale
Candiace Dillard Bassett
Candiace has been recording new music and plans to shop it to a major music label. She is still focusing on heating up her career before taking her embryos off ice.
Wendy Osefo
Wendy has self-released her talk show The Dr. Wendy Show on her YouTube channel. She’s hoping that this new venture is the one that finally sticks!
Robyn Dixon
Robyn has signed a lease for her first GLO30 location and hopes to have doors open in 2024. As for the world’s opinion on her and Juan’s marriage? The Dixon’s “100 percent DON’T CARE.”
Karen Huger
Karen is renovating her Surry house and hopes to have it open by 2025. She also treated herself to a few upgrades – some triple 20 cosmetic “tweaks.”
Gizelle Bryant
Gizelle officially launched her GNA clothing line with Ashley. Sadly, Gizelle’s father, Curtis, passed away shortly after his surgery.
Nneka Ihim
Nneka’s IUI procedure was unsuccessful. She and Iyke will try IVF next, and they will keep up the romance for their next bathroom rendezvous.
Ashley Darby
Ashley is actively dating, but she and Michael are still not divorced. Her deadline to sign on the dotted line “by the end of the year” has come and gone…again.
What happened with Mia Thornton and Gordon Thornton on the RHOP Season 8 finale?
In the final moments of the finale, it was revealed that cameras picked back up three months after they initially commenced to get the aftermath of Mia and Gordon’s separation.
During a confessional interview, Mia opened up about the life adjustments and her new relationship. “This life that I’m living is not really the life that God is intending for me,” she said. “Like, I need to follow my heart, and whatever happens, happens.”
The RHOP cast teases the Season 8 reunion
The ladies will reunite for one last sit-down with Andy Cohen for a three-part reunion to relive all the drama from the season.
Back in February, Candiace shared her “hopes” of reconciling her friendship with Robyn at the reunion during an interview with Entertainment Tonight.
When Ashley appeared on the February 5 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, she shed light on her involvement in Wendy and Nenka's disagreement, saying, "You will see at the reunion that there is much more to the situation.”
The Real Housewives of Potomac Season 8 reunion kicks off with Part 1 on Sunday, March 31, on Bravo at 8/7c.
