Robyn Dixon Confirms Engagement to Juan "Is Definitely Much Sweeter the Second Time Around"

It's official: Robyn and Juan Dixon are engaged and getting remarried, The Daily Dish has confirmed.

Juan got down on one knee and popped the question to Robyn at a holiday party on Friday (December 13). "Shocked and excited is an understatement to describe my reaction to Juan’s proposal! I could barely breathe! We had definitely discussed the topic and agreed that marriage was the next step for us, but I was not expecting it to happen so soon!" Robyn told The Daily Dish via email on Sunday (December 15). "Juan gave the sweetest speech and set the whole room into an uproar when he got down on one knee! It was truly a special night and is definitely much sweeter the second time around. Oh, and he knows me well and got my ring just right!"

Robyn also showed gratitude for all of the love and support she and Juan have received for their relationship over the years. "I have been so touched by all of the well wishes that we have received from people who have been praying and rooting for us to succeed," she shared. "The outpouring of love is truly heartwarming."

For now, Robyn is excited to end the year on a high note with her longtime love. "I look forward to spending the holidays with my new fiancé," Robyn said. "Haha, it’s so weird to call Juan my fiancé; I think I’ll stick with 'husband.'" 

This will be the second time Robyn and Juan have said "I do." The Real Housewives of Potomac couple was previously married for seven years before getting divorced in 2012. However, the couple, who have two sons together, Corey and Carter, notably still lived under the same roof, as we saw in Season 1 of RHOP.

Robyn and Juan continued to work on their relationship over the years, eventually getting back together and in the best place we've ever seen them in Season 4 of RHOP. They even got matching tattoos to show their commitment to one another in the Season 4 finale (clip above).

Robyn opened up about her complex relationship with Juan during the RHOP Season 4 reunion. "It's hard to explain. It's honestly a bond, a family bond. It's about our boys. It's about the history that we have," she shared. And it gets frustrating trying to make people understand it, because if you're not in it, you don't understand." 

The couple said at the reunion that they had been talking about getting remarried. In fact, Robyn predicted during the reunion that Juan would put a ring on it within a year-and-a-half, which he was all for. "It sounds great. It's possible. I mean, we work on it. We talk about it all the time. It's something that we've had conversations about," he said during the reunion. "Robyn and I have been through a lot, but we're at a good place now, and we will [get remarried]."
