We Have a Major Update on Robyn Dixon’s Husband Juan Dixon’s Career
The RHOP husband opened up about his professional life like never before.
On the Season 8 premiere of The Real Housewives of Potomac, viewers saw Robyn Dixon and her husband, Juan Dixon, have a candid conversation about the recent change in his professional life since losing his job as college basketball coach at Coppin State University. While the news was unfortunate for the couple, Juan reassured Robyn that he did everything by the book but ultimately couldn't please his superiors.
“I felt like I love my job, I was passionate about my job, but I guess we didn’t win enough basketball games,” Juan told Robyn.
Now on Episode 2 of RHOP, which aired on November 12, the former NBA player provided another update on his employment status. Get all the details below.
Juan Dixon gives an update on his career
Following a conversation about the rumors surrounding their marriage, Robyn picked her husband’s brain to see where his head was at since being relieved from his duties.
“Alright, so just checking in with you – how are you doing since you know,” she said before Juan interrupted her to see if she was asking him about work. “I’m fine,” he said. “I’m cool. I’ll figure it out.
Of course, with Robyn being concerned for her husband, she continued to see if he’s been looking for other opportunities, saying, “But you’re like making calls and keeping your eyes open.”
Juan reassured his spouse that he’s been “trying” to search for a new job; however, he wasn’t going to “rush the process.”
When it comes to Juan’s feelings about no longer being a basketball coach at a college level. He expressed that there was no ill will. “All I do is love my guys, I love my guys hard,” he told Robyn in the episode. “And they love me back… I know things are going to work out because I have everybody’s best interest.”
What to expect from Robyn Dixon and Juan Dixon on RHOP Season 8?
As aforementioned, several accusations are swirling around Robyn and Juan’s union. This comes after last season’s incident of Juan having an “affair,” which Robyn addressed back in February on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
Naturally, those events don't sit well with Robyn's friends Gizelle Bryant and Ashley Darby, who will express their concerns as she continues to stand by Juan's side. In fact, in the Season 8 trailer, there's one moment that shows Robyn in an emotional state, saying, “People want to turn me into a f-cking villain, and I didn’t do sh-t to none of y’all.”
You can see more of Robyn and Juan, including inside their marriage, by tuning into new episodes of The Real Housewives of Potomac on Sundays at 8/7c on Bravo. Stream episodes the next day on Peacock.
