Real Housewives of Potomac: Where Does Gizelle Bryant, Ashley Darby's Friendship Stand Today?
Gizelle Bryant and Ashley Darby appear to be in a good place as The Real Housewives of Potomac returns for Season 8.

Just a few days ahead of the return of The Real Housewives of Potomac on Nov. 5 at 8/7c on Bravo, Gizelle Bryant said that things will get hot, hot, hot in the latest installment of the series.
“So this is a fire season,” she said during an appearance on Live with Kelly and Mark. “I actually loved it. I loved hanging out with my friends that I love.”
And that seemingly includes fellow Housewife Ashley Darby. Of course, even good friends can go through highs and lows and challenges. Expect that dynamic to play out during Season 8 of RHOP.

Where Do Gizelle and Ashley Stand Today?
Gizelle and Ashley continue to be a compelling duo in the series, all the while weathering ups and downs that come in any relationship.
Even though the two have had their differences in the past, they’ve navigated them and come out the other side to a real friendship.
How’d they do it? Gizelle was asked that question about her friendship with Ashley in September. when she was a guest on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
“I just like her as a person and she's a lot of fun,” Gizelle told WWHL. “She’s smart, and I love a smart woman.”
Which, of course, isn’t to say that there haven’t been snags in the relationship. In October 2022, one of them was linked to Ashley’s seemingly on-and-off separation from husband Michael Darby.
Gizelle pointed out to her in an episode “one minute you're getting a divorce and the next minute you're buying a house with the man,” E! News reported.
Ashley felt that Gizelle was getting “a little accusatory” and looking past the fact that reconciliations can happen.
The status of Ashley’s divorce isn’t definitive as Season 8 of RHOM is about to start, so one can expect it to come up as a talking point.
Judging by recent social media posts, the two are in a very good place — one where they share a mutual admiration.
Ashley Celebrates Gizelle's birthday
On September 9, Gizelle celebrated her birthday attended by Ashley, who shared an Instagram post for a look inside the festivities. There was a multi-tiered cake, blazing sparklers, and friends belting “Happy Birthday.”
“Happy birthday Gizzy!” Ashley wrote on Instagram. “You are such an incredible lady and we are so blessed to have you in our lives! Love you!”
Regarding Season 8 of RHOP, Gizelle revealed on Live with Kelly and Mark that the cast was in rare form, saying, “We did a lot of crazy housewife doesn’t-make-any-sense stuff.”
