Teresa Giudice Reveals if She and Luis Ruelas Plan to Have More Children
The Real Housewives of New Jersey mom opened up about her blended family and whether another kid is in her future.
It’s clear six is enough for Teresa Giudice.
While speaking with Reality Blurb this week, The Real Housewives of New Jersey mom opened up about her new marriage to Luis “Louie” Ruelas and their transition into a blended family.
Teresa and her ex-husband, Joe Giudice, share four daughters: 22-year-old Gia, 18-year-old Gabriella, 17-year-old Milania, and 13-year-old Audriana; while Louie has two sons from a previous marriage.
When asked if she and Louie had any plans to expand their family, the best-selling cookbook author told the outlet a baby wasn’t in their future.
“No, I’m not. It’s past that… We have six kids [combined]. And four dogs,” she said. “We have enough.”
Teresa and Louie’s household will become a little less crowded later this year, as Gabriella is expected to leave the nest for college this fall. She recently announced her enrollment at the University of Michigan, where she will major in economics. Her older sister, Gia, is also preparing for an exciting new life chapter, as she intends to go to law school following her graduation from Rutgers University this spring.
Teresa went on to tell Reality Blurb that life is “definitely more relaxing” now that her daughters are older and much more independent. Though she jokingly referred to herself as Audriana’s “Uber driver,” she said family transportation has become a bit easier now that Milania has her license.
But Teresa wasn’t always opposed to a family addition. Shortly after separating from Joe in 2019, Teresa revealed she was open to having at least one more child.
“I would love to have a little boy,” she told Andy Cohen during Part 2 of the RHONJ Season 10 reunion. “I might freeze my eggs, you never know!”
Earlier that season, Teresa revealed that she and Joe had tried to have a boy prior to welcoming Audriana. She told her castmates she failed to get pregnant through IVF, so they tried traditional conception.
“We’re like, ‘Let’s just do it the natural way.’ And we did it and it was Audriana, another girl,” she said. “So we weren’t meant to have a boy.”
