Jennifer Aydin Reflects on Addressing Margaret Josephs' Comments About Her Marriage to Bill
The RHONJ cast member addresses her openness about her past marital issues during Season 12.
Season 12 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey kicked off with Jennifer Aydin opening up about past issues in her marriage to Dr. Bill Aydin after Margaret Josephs brought them up in the premiere episode. Jennifer has since opened up about how much she values her family and her decision to work on their marriage and stay together, writing on Instagram earlier this month, "I’m glad I stayed…and forgave."
On Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Tuesday (February 15), Jennifer opened up about being honest with the women about Bill's past issues and shed new light on how she feels about that honesty today. After Andy Cohen asked her, "Do you regret admitting that Bill had an affair?" she shared, "Yes."
She then went on to explain why she was candid about it, even if she feels differently about it now. "I'm always very forthright and sometimes to my detriment, but there's other people involved," she added, sharing how her family has reacted to everything in the above clip. "But I do believe there's power in my story, and we ultimately have a happy ending. I'm not gonna let anyone ruin my happiness."
Bill was also backstage at WWHL for Jennifer's appearance, and she posted a cute selfie of them together at the taping to her Instagram Stories.
On Monday (February 14), Jennifer posted a sweet tribute to her husband and their life together, just in time for Valentine's Day. She shared to Instagram a series of throwback photos (which Bill also posted on Instagram to his professional account), and the caption cited some of her favorite memories from over the years. "From our honeymoon, to our first Valentine’s as a married couple where I crashed his room while he was on call at Metropolitan hospital - chillin some days and living it up on others - it’ll always be me and you," Jennifer wrote. "Happy Valentine’s Day Lovey!!"
