Gia Giudice Just Shared a Major Update on Her Post-College Job Plans

Her stepdad, Louie Ruelas, had a sweet response to the exciting career news.

It looks like Gia Giudice is one step closer to her dream of adding an esquire title to the end of her name.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of New Jersey on Peacock and the Bravo app.

The college senior, who is the eldest daughter of The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Teresa Giudice and her ex-husband, Joe Giudice, has confirmed her immediate post-graduation career plans.

Gia will be working at Martinez Immigration, a virtual law firm run by sole practicing attorney Kathleen Martinez. The lawyer first shared the news with a video posted on her official Instagram page on January 30.

“What? Like it’s hard?” the beginning of the video’s caption read, paying homage to the film Legally Blonde. “We are so excited to welcome [Gia Giudice] to the firm!! Welcome to Martinez Immigration firm, Gia!”

Gia will be an intern for the firm, as she has not attended law school nor has she passed the bar exam (though she plans to — more on that later!).

Once the exciting news was publicized, Gia’s stepdad of nearly six months, Luis “Louie” Ruelas, shared his support in the comments section.

“Congratulations!! You look amazing!” he wrote. “Super proud of you.”

Gia previously opened up about her plans to attend law school in an exclusive chat with BravoTV.com (which you can check out in the video above!).

“After I graduate, I am pursuing my dream of going to law school,” she said. “My hope for the future is to become a very successful lawyer and have a lucrative clothing business on the side.”

As Gia explained during an episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen in 2021, she wants to practice law because of her parents’ experiences with the legal system. Teresa was released from prison in December 2015 after serving 11 months of her 15-month sentence, while Gia’s dad, Joe Giudice, is currently exploring his legal options to return to the United States following his post-prison deportation.

“Their whole experience influenced me, honestly, for the better,” Gia explained during the WWHL episode, which aired in May 2021. “I just want to help families and be able to be there for families and help children, honestly, especially.”

On her LinkedIn page, Gia shared that she wanted to work as a paralegal while she applied to law schools, and it looks like she may now be one step closer to fulfilling her career dreams.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 13 premieres Tuesday, February 7, at 9 p.m. ET/PT with a 75-minute supersize episode. Each week, the episode will stream the next day on Peacock
