Gia Giudice Comments on Almost Missing Teresa’s Wedding
The RHONJ daughter revealed why she almost didn’t make it to her mom’s wedding to Luis “Louie” Ruelas, held on August 6 in New Jersey.
Teresa Giudice’s August 6 wedding to Luis “Louie” Ruelas included a special role for her four daughters — Gia, Gabriella, Milania, and Audriana — but one of her girls almost missed the sweet event. Gia commented on a report that she nearly missed the wedding, held on Saturday in New Jersey, because she was in Nashville, celebrating her cousin Miranda’s 21st birthday.
Luckily, Gia did make her flight, joining her sisters as her mom’s bridesmaids. “Raise your hand if you almost got stuck in Nashville,” she posted on Instagram on Sunday, August 7, along with photos from her trip.
Gia had previously posted photos from her getaway in the days leading up to her mom’s wedding. “Best friends 21. My cousin can finally come out with me!!” she captioned one set of photos. The Real Housewives of New Jersey daughter added in a separate Instagram post, “Brought the Jersey to Nashville.”
Gia’s dad, Joe Giudice, also opened up about his daughter’s trip on his own Instagram account, writing, “Happy Birthday Miranda[,] my niece. [She] celebrated her 21st birthday with my daughter Gia... Nashville[,] Tennessee[,] always wanted to go there.”
Teresa and Louie were married in the Garden State at the Park Château in front of their friends and family. Louie’s sons were also in attendance at the wedding, which was officiated by Louie’s sister, Dr. Veronica Ruelas. All their children participated in the ceremony by joining the newlyweds in lighting unity candles.
The event’s guest list included a who’s who of Bravolebs, including RHONJ’s Jennifer Aydin, Dolores Catania, Margaret Josephs, and Jackie Goldschneider (Jennifer and Dolores also served as bridesmaids); The Real Housewives of Dubai’s Chanel Ayan; The Real Housewives of Miami’s Alexia Nepola; The Real Housewives of Potomac’s Ashley Darby; The Real Housewives of New York City’s Dorinda Medley and Jill Zarin; and The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Kenya Moore, Phaedra Parks, and Cynthia Bailey.
