Gia Giudice Praises Her Mom for the Sweetest Reason
The RHONJ kid admitted she would have been “freaking out” when Teresa did this on her wedding day.
One moment from Teresa Giudice’s wedding to Luis “Louie” Ruelas took her daughter Gia Giudice’s breath away.
Gia and her three younger sisters — Gabriella, Milania, and Audriana — were by The Real Housewives of New Jersey OG’s side when she exchanged vows with Louie in August 2022. During a chat with Page Six, Gia revealed that there’s an image from the big day that she will “never forget”: the moment when her mom walked down the aisle solo.
Though the college senior said she offered to accompany her mom for her entrance to the ceremony, Teresa declined. She recalled her mother telling her, “‘I think I could do it. I think I got it.’”
“There’s not many women [who] could say they walked down the aisle alone,” Gia said, noting that she admired her mom for exhibiting such “strength” on her wedding day. “And also, the nerves of walking down the aisle alone, like, I would’ve been freaking out!”
Gia added that Teresa “looked so beautiful and so seamless doing it,” and that it was “the best part” of the day for her.

While chatting with E! News in November, Teresa teased that she “can’t wait” for fans to see her entire wedding day unfold on the upcoming special.
“I always like to be unique and different and out of the box, so I can’t wait for you guys to see it,” Teresa said. “I can’t wait to see it.”
