You’ll Never Believe Which Celeb Was Maid of Honor at Julia Lemigova’s Wedding

It's no secret that Julia Lemigova and her wife, tennis legend Martina Navratilova, have lots of love for each other. The Real Housewives of Miami cast member and Martina have both shared an inside look into their close relationship, as well as the adorable menagerie of animals on their farm, on Season 4 of RHOM. Julia also recently gave glimpses of her and Martina's glamorous wedding, complete with a peek of the star-studded guests, in a Valentine's Day post on Instagram. 

And Julia's wedding, including the celebrity guest list, recently came up during model and actress Brooke Shields' March 10 appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. "I got to start with this because you were the maid of honor in the wedding between [RHOM's] Julia Lemigova and Martina Navratilova," said host Andy Cohen to Brooke, revealing the huge role she played in the RHOM newcomer's nuptials.

Andy then asked Brooke how she had met Julia, to which Brooke replied, "So, we met through a woman, rest her soul, named Terry Kramer, who was a really good friend of my dad's, and she is Julia's godmother."

After Andy asked whether Brooke was surprised that Julia went on to become a Miami Housewife, Brooke praised Martina and Julia's "solid marriage" and shared that she wasn't surprised. "I think Julia is a really beautiful human being, so I trust that she is going to fine," Brooke responded, going on to add, "I'm not surprised [Julia became a Housewife] because I think she's protected, and she's sweet, she's got great girls."

Julia also opened up about joining Season 4 of RHOM during an exclusive interview with Bravo Insider in late February, revealing that she binge-watched the first three seasons — and, sometimes, with her wife by her side. "Martina would be, like, walking into the room and bringing me lunch or dinner. And she was like, 'Oh, you're still watching?' 'Uh huh,'" Julia recalled during the interview, adding, "And she would sit with me, watch a little bit, go away."

And, as it turns out, Julia isn't the only Housewife who has history with Brooke Shields. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Kyle Richards recently took to Twitter following Brooke's WWHL appearance to reveal her connection to the actress.

"I sat next to Brooke at the Polo Bar and we talked about our Moms being strong Hollywood Moms. I shared with her that I was not allowed to tweeze my eyebrows because of her," wrote Kyle in a March 10 post on Twitter, adding, "She also knows Kathy [Hilton]."
