Vicki Gunvalson Shares an Update on Her Relationship with Michael Smith
The RHOC alum gave her followers a peek at her latest relationship milestone with her beau of over a year.
Vicki Gunvalson’s love tank is getting quite full these days.
The Real Housewives of Orange County alum — who has recently reunited with the current cast by popping up several times on Season 17 — has been in a relationship with businessman Michael Smith since 2022.
On September 4, Vicki shared a look at a recent trip the two took to a place that’s very close to her heart.

Vicki Gunvalson’s Relationship Update
To close out the summer, the OG of the OC took a trip with Michael and another couple to a place that’s long been her favorite vacation spot: Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
On September 4, Vicki posted a series of snapshots from the relaxing getaway on her Instagram Stories.
She first shared an image of a statue of a man and woman embracing at Casa Kimberly, a hotel that was created out of two homes formerly owned by Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton. In her next post, Vicki and her beau re-created the pose themselves.
Vicki later added a photo of her and Michael smiling while posing together on a balcony.
In another Story, Vicki, Michael, and their travel companions snapped a photo together on a balcony with a view of the city at sunset in the background. “What a great trip,” she captioned the group shot. She then added a photo of her walking down a cobblestone street with her boyfriend. “Walking in old town after dinner,” Vicki wrote alongside the Instagram Story.
Vicki Gunvalson’s Relationship Milestone with Michael Smith
About two months before the pair took the trip to Mexico together, Vicki shared that she had just taken a serious step in her relationship with Michael: The couple is now living in the same state.
“He just moved back from Texas,” Vicki told Page Six in June about how Michael had relocated to Southern California and now “[has] a place here.”
“I might’ve had to ask him,” she explained about why Michael decided to make such a major move.
Though the two aren’t living together, Vicki assured the outlet that they “will eventually” as long as their relationship continues to progress. As she said, she’s “taking it slow” with Michael for the time being.
