Shannon Storms Beador Shared a Sweet Photo with Her “Man”
The Real Housewives of Orange County mom had an outing with a loyal companion.
If there’s anyone Shannon Storms Beador can count on, it’s her old pal Archie. The Real Housewives of Orange County mom has had her faithful companion by her side since 2016. And based on a recent post, it looks like the two are still keeping great company.
In a February 9 Instagram share, Shannon offered a peek at an outing with her golden retriever. “Spending the afternoon with my ‘man’ who still just randomly stops dead in his tracks when walking up the hill,” the Real for Real founder wrote.
In the accompanying videos, Shannon’s shaggy “man” is enjoying his walk at his own pace. (Read: Rather slowly.) “Come on, Archie, let’s go,” Shannon says in the background. But the pup wants to stay outside! This is classic Archie: He’s been dawdling at the park since at least 2020.
While the four-legged man in Shannon’s life has been a constant, she shared a sad update about her relationship with John Janssen back in January. Confirming that she and John had split up, Shannon admitted that she was “blindsided” by the breakup with her boyfriend.
“I was hopeful this was the man I was going to spend the rest of my life with,” she told People. I wanted it to work out. I’ve never loved anyone like I’ve loved John. But clearly, he didn’t feel the same way.”
John also shared his thoughts with the magazine. “The last thing I wanted to do is hurt Shannon, but I do think I did the right thing for the both of us,” he said. “We’re two people who love each other very much, but love is not always enough. And while I know Shannon sees it as I’ve said things to her I never meant, I hope she’ll be able to see that there’s no bad person here. It’s two really good people who couldn’t make it work.”
Shortly after the split, Shannon sat down with her old friend Jeff Lewis for an interview on his Radio Andy podcast. “Yesterday was a really, really hard day for me and I couldn’t stop crying,” Shannon told Jeff. “I don’t know how I would’ve handled things had I just been sitting at home.” She was grateful that the Radio Andy host had “forced” her to go out the night before.
Thank goodness for faithful friends, both two-legged and four.
