We Have a Major Update on Noella Bergener’s Friendship with Nicole James
The RHOC cast member gave a look at where things stand with her friend following the Season 16 drama.
Noella Bergener didn’t hold back when it came to opening up about the emotional roller coaster she was on as she experienced several unexpected struggles in her life during Season 16 of The Real Housewives of Orange County, including her husband filing for divorce.
After tearfully telling her friend Nicole James that her marriage was ending, the RHOC newcomer later expressed her disappointment with Nicole for falling short on showing support at the time. “I think our views of friendship are very different. I need somebody who’s going to wrap me up and say, 'I know. I have been there,’” Noella shared in an interview in the December 22 episode, adding, “I need friends for the first time to really show up for me.”
Recently, Noella offered a look at the current status of her relationship with Nicole on Instagram, and it appeared that her friend had showed up for her this time. “Thank you [Nicole James] [and] [Marketing Studio Los Angeles] for an unforgettable birthday bash,” she wrote in the caption of her June 13 post, which featured a stunning photo of Noella at her lavish birthday celebration that, as she revealed, Nicole had helped make happen.
Nicole showed some birthday love to Noella in the comments of her post, writing, “Happy birthday my beautiful friend. I love you!”
Earlier this year, Noella shared more about her friendship with Nicole during her January 5 appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen (clip above) after Andy Cohen read the RHOC rookie a question from a fan who wanted to know how she felt about that emotional moment when she had opened up to Nicole, and whether the two remained friends. “So I saw everything the viewers saw as well,” Noella said, agreeing with the fan that it was “horrific.” “I called it out in the moment.
