Why Dorit Kemsley Is Questioning Kyle and Morgan’s "Really, Really Close Friendship"
Kyle also revealed why she hasn’t been as close with Dorit lately.
Dorit Kemsley is once again making her feelings known about Kyle Richards' close friendship with Morgan Wade.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member first expressed her thoughts on the pair's bond during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen earlier this month, admitting that "the closer" Kyle gets to the country singer, "the further" she gets from Dorit.
She discussed this newfound distance in detail on RHOBH Season 13, Episode 9, which aired Dec. 20. Kyle also shared her side of the story when it comes to her and Dorit not being as close as they once were. Read on for details.
Dorit Kemsley's Reaction to Morgan Wade's Kyle Richards Tattoo
Kyle dropped the bombshell that she tattooed a "K" onto Morgan's arm while in conversation with both Dorit and Annemarie Wiley. The former was, suffice to say, shocked.
"What is going on, Kyle?" Dorit asked. "You put the first letter of your name on her body? You've literally been friends for a year."
"Well, two years," Kyle shot back. "But that doesn't matter."
"I'm just saying. We've been friends for seven. You didn't put a 'D' on your body, did you?" Dorit responded before further reacting to Morgan's tattoo in a confessional interview. "My husband put my name on his arm. I don't know what that says about Kyle tattooing her name on Morgan's arm, but that is a really, really close friendship."

On the way to Crystal Kung Minkoff's Taco Tuesday night, Dorit resurfaced the conversation about Kyle and Morgan's friendship. "How come I don't know about all these movies and things you're doing?" Dorit said, referencing Kyle's new project that she only recently learned about. "Literally, I feel like I'm an afterthought. I guess I have to put your initial on my body for you to actually care."
"I genuinely feel hurt by this distance between Kyle and I," she continued in a confessional. "Kyle and I used to go away once or twice, even more, a year. Now, I'm not invited on any of Kyle's trips."
What's more, Dorit said she believes that Kyle is "morphing into" Morgan.
"Much of who Kyle has become is a lot like who Morgan is," Dorit explained. "Where do I fit in in Kyle's new life? [It] feels like I've been not just excluded, but maybe even replaced."

Kyle, however, sees things differently. In a confessional of her own, she noted, "I think the reason I haven't reached out to Dorit as much recently is because I really felt disappointed in her."
The RHOBH episode then showed flashback footage from the Season 12 reunion of Kyle and her sister Kathy Hilton sharing an emotional moment, only for Dorit to interject.
Kyle added in her confessional, "In private, Dorit had been saying to me, 'I feel so bad what you're going through with your sister.' And she was really supportive and on my side. And then when we were all together, it was a very different tune."
"That doesn't feel like a friend to me," she concluded.
