Garcelle Beauvais Reveals Jaw-Dropping Details About Her Dating History
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member spilled all sorts of tea during an interview with Laverne Cox.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Garcelle Beauvais appeared on a recent episode of E!’s If We’re Being Honest with Laverne Cox and ended up getting candid about her personal life.
The subject of Garcelle’s past relationships came up when she was discussing her earlier modeling and acting projects, one of which just so happened to involve Michael Jordan. “I showed up on set and there he was,” she recalled after admitting that, since this was back in the 1980s, she didn’t know who he was until her brother filled her in. “And he was so nice. A tall chocolate man… and we hit it off. He was great.”
“We went and had dinner and he invited me to Hawaii,” Garcelle continued, laughing. “And I was like, ‘I don’t know you, I’m not going to Hawaii with you.’ And yeah, that was it.”
Cox then inquired about a few other past suitors, including Will Smith (Garcelle said they “went out on a couple dates”) and Eddie Murphy.
“Oh, every girl on the set of Coming to America was feening for Eddie Murphy,” Garcelle said, “and we dated.”
Cox asked for details, but Garcelle didn’t want to kiss and tell, simply adding, “It was off and on. It was a while. He’s lovely.”
