Kandi Burruss Channels Dr. Heavenly & Quad for a Hilarious Married to Medicine Re-creation
Find out what the Married to Medicine ladies thought of the RHOA cast member’s spoof.
Kandi Burruss’ new Married to Medicine spoof is just what the doctor ordered. On October 9, The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member posted a parody of an iconic (virtual) exchange between Dr. Heavenly Kimes and Quad Webb that will have you in stitches.
Imitating both women in the Instagram clip, Kandi lip-syncs the dialogue and even mimics the way Heavenly was brushing her hair on camera throughout the conversation. It was all in good fun though: Kandi captioned the post, “Much love to [Quad] & [Heavenly] but I had to do it!”
The Married to Medicine women were laughing along with her, as evidenced by the countless crying-laughing emojis in the comments. “[Kandi] you’re a fool for this one!!!” Quad wrote, to which the RHOA cast member replied, “I told you I was gonna do it!” For her part, Heavenly commented, “Omg!!!!” along with several emojis.
Meanwhile, Married to Medicine’s Dr. Jackie Walters chimed in, “I love it!!!” while Dr. Simone Whitmore added, “NAILED IT!!!” Also joining in the laughter were RHOA’s Sanya Richards-Ross and Cynthia Bailey, as well as The Real Housewives of Dubai’s Chanel Ayan.
In an even further mark of approval, both Heavenly and Quad reposted the Instagram video to their own grids as well. “Omg. This is HILARIOUS,” Heavenly captioned her post, adding the original clip in her second slide. “I think [Kandi] did Dr. Heavenly better than Dr. Heavenly… Thank you so much sister for always reaching across and supporting me, my businesses and [Married to Medicine].”
Kandi jumped into Heavenly’s comments to add, “You know I love y’all! I’m glad you liked it!” The cosmetic dentist replied again, calling the spoof “amazing!!!!!”
In her own repost, Quad wrote, “[Kandi] I ain’t gonna hold you! You SLAYED this remix!!!”
The Married to Medicine re-creation was all part of the RHOA ’Wife’s new “Kandi Spoofs” series of content. On September 25, for example, she put her own spin on the RHOA Season 14 reunion in another video, playing the roles of her castmates Kenya Moore and Shereé Whitfield. The following week, she channeled Marlo Hampton and Andy Cohen to give everyone “a good laugh,” while revisiting Marlo’s opinion that she is “not worldwide.”
“I hope you have been enjoying my [Kandi Spoofs]!” she wrote on October 9. “I’m trying something different with my content so if you like it please like share [and] comment! Thanks for the love y’all!”
Imitation truly is the sincerest form of flattery.
