Gregg Leakes Looks Dapper As He Heads into His Final Cancer Surgery
The RHOA hubby showed love for his supporters as he shared an update on his health journey.
Back in mid-May, Gregg Leakes' wife, Nene Leakes, confirmed he is currently cancer-free following his battle with stage 3 colon cancer. Now, there's one more step The Real Housewives of Atlanta hubby is undergoing to close this chapter. He shared on Instagram he's having his final surgery in connection with his health journey.
"Going into Final Surgery. Happy day having my port removed. Thank you Jesus for watching over me," he posted on social media, alongside a photo of him looking dapper as always. "Thank you world for your prayers and well wishes. Leggo."
Gregg has been counting down to this last stage in his recovery, sharing in early May, "Almost time to shout Victory. God is a healer [and] I believe."
He's also made sure to thank everyone who has supported him throughout his health ordeal: "Thank you to my Children, My Family and ALL of who supported me."
Nene and Gregg documented his battle with cancer on Season 11 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, including how difficult it has been on their marriage. They later confirmed during the reunion they were seeking couple's counseling to deal with their issues.
