Here’s What Drew Sidora Had to Say After That Dinner with Ralph Pittman
The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member opened up about the “dinner party from hell” with her husband.
There’s no doubt that Drew Sidora and Ralph Pittman’s hopes for a romantic dinner together, which was featured on the recent May 8 episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, didn’t go exactly as planned.
“He just really went all out. The whole day, I was just smiling ear to ear,” Drew initially said of her husband’s surprise, as he arranged a special day for her, complete with a rooftop dinner.
Unfortunately, Drew’s “complete fairytale” of a day took a turn when she joined Ralph for dinner later that evening, and the couple proceeded to have a tense exchange regarding their relationship.
Though Drew wanted to open the lines of communication with her husband over that dinner, Ralph felt the opposite, saying, “I would prefer to use this night as an opportunity just to enjoy each other’s company, and we can leave everything else for marriage counseling,” to which Drew later responded, “If me expressing myself means we have a bad night, what the hell are we doing?”
Recently, Drew addressed the situation on Instagram, posting a clip of that dinner and writing, “I’m exhausted,” along with a hashtag that read "dinner party from hell" in the caption.
She also shared on Instagram a stunning photo of herself from the evening and further expressed how she felt about the drama with Ralph, writing, “Tonight’s episode,” along with the hashtag "emotional rollercoaster" in the caption.
This isn’t the first time the husband-and-wife duo have experienced issues while discussing their relationship over dinner together. Last year, Drew opened up about one of her regrets from her rookie season on RHOA being the moment when she and Ralph had a bit of a heated exchange during their anniversary dinner, in which she was at odds with him over what he was really doing in Tampa and the security cameras in their home.
When Andy Cohen asked Drew to look back on RHOA Season 13 during her April 18 appearance last year on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, he asked if she regretted that moment, to which Drew replied, “Definitely, yes. I wish I could take that back.”
As fans have seen on RHOA, Drew and Ralph have continued to work on their marriage, as they previously shared one of their couples’ therapy sessions. “We’re on that journey. Just doing the work. And, as you saw, he opened up a little about his past, so there is some trauma, as I learned from Coach Love,” Drew said during another previous appearance on WWHL in January of last year. She went on to share about her husband, “He’s working on himself, and he is committed to the marriage.”
