Drew Sidora Says Kenya Moore Never Gave Her a Chance: “It Is What It Is”
The RHOA newbie reacted to comments Kenya made during an episode interview.
Drew Sidora has not had the easiest start in forming a friendship with Kenya Moore so far on Season 13 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. The newest cast member opened up about a moment she felt “saddened” by on the January 3 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
When a fan asked, “We inquiring minds want to know: what were your thoughts on Kenya’s confessional when she asked Cynthia about where does she get all her strays?” Drew didn’t hold back in her response.
“I saw that, and I was hurt a little bit, because, you know, Kenya being the first Black Miss USA, it was very disheartening that she didn’t even give your girl a chance,” Drew explained in the video, above. “I hadn’t even met her. I hadn’t said one word, and she had already made a judgment about me, so my discernment towards her was right, because she never really gave me a chance. She never really got to know me. She definitely pre-judged, which I was definitely saddened about. It is what it is.”
Though Drew was upset by the remarks, she didn’t necessarily take everything Kenya said to heart. Andy asked Drew how she felt after watching Kenya and LaToya throw shade at her wig during the December 20 episode.
“Let’s be real, it’s COVID going on! And I was doing my own hair, and so, I had a good laugh, though. It was me watching YouTube trying to learn. So I was like, okay, I can laugh at myself. It is what it is,” Drew explained in the video, below. “I think a lot of ladies could relate with the wigs. We did the best we could this year. With the pandemic, we had to do our nails, we had to do a lot of things! We learned a lot. So, I wasn’t too mad about it. It was some fun shade. It is what it is.”
