Reza Farahan Once Asked Husband Adam for a Divorce While Their Marriage Was on a "Downward Spiral"

Reza Farahan and his husband Adam Farahan have been focusing on the future as they get ready to start a family, as we've seen this season of Shahs of Sunset. However, the couple revealed during Part 1 of the Season 7 reunion Thursday night that they recently experienced a serious rough patch in their relationship, so much so that the fate of their marriage seemed uncertain.

When Adam joined the Shahs of Sunset squad at the Season 7 reunion, which you can see a clip of above, he opened up about the cause of his and Reza's marital issues. "He wasn't feeling appreciated, and I was so focused on myself and doing work that I forgot that I have a husband and he needs attention as well," Adam explained. "And I wasn't giving that to him, and I also wasn't acknowledging the amazing things that he was doing for both of us."

Reza then shared that the catalyst for their conflict came after Adam wouldn't do "a really simple thing" for him. "That just started this downward spiral for me, and I said I wanted a divorce," Reza said.

Reza and Adam are definitely not ready to give up on their marriage just yet. "We're working on it. We went to couples counseling. We've been communicating," Reza said. "He's been amazing ... Really making an effort."

However, they didn't seem so sure if their relationship could survive another threat of divorce. Adam said, "Let's talk to someone first, see if we can work on it, and if not, then we will get a divorce," according to Reza.

Still, Reza and Adam shared that they don't want their third wedding anniversary that they celebrated this year to be their last. As Adam prepared to leave the set, he and Reza shared a kiss and told each other, "I love you," providing a glimmer of hope for their future.
