Reza Farahan on Mike Shouhed’s Relationship with Paulina: “It Has Transformed Mike”
The Shahs of Sunset cast member also shared his opinion of Mike dating someone with children.

It's a new season of Shahs of Sunset, and for Mike Shouhed, some major changes are afloat. The bachelor announced that he is in a new relationship with a woman named Paulina.
"Paulina, that's my girlfriend. She's the love of my life. She's 28. First time I ever dated a Persian girl. First time I ever dated a Jewish girl," he said of his new love in the Season 8 premiere. (Mike is also Persian and Jewish.) He also shared that she is a mother, and in a preview for an upcoming episode, he reveals he plans to propose.
So what do the Shahs think of Mike's new relationship? In an interview with The Daily Dish podcast, Reza Farahan shared his feelings about Paulina.
"It's really nice to see Mike in a relationship that actually makes sense, with someone who he's compatible with, with someone who clearly loves him and he loves back," Reza opined. "Very different than any relationship that we have seen in the past. And the fact that Paulina brings kids to the equation is a beautiful thing. Because it has transformed Mike. And it's made him softer, gentler. And hopefully more dedicated to the relationship. I think it's a beautiful thing because, you know, it's no secret that he cheated on his ex-wife and they ended up getting a divorce." (Mike and ex-wife Jessica Parido divorced in 2016 after nearly eight months of marriage.)
Reza thinks that the fact that Paulina has children has strengthened Mike's commitment to Paulina. "I think that because she has kids he's more invested in the relationship. It's not just doing her dirty; it would be doing the kids who love and adore him, as well, dirty. So he's more — not more, it seems like he's all in. And I don't feel like he's willing to fold this hand. I feel like he's going to see this thing through. I'm very happy for both of them," Reza said.
