Reza Farahan and Mercedes "MJ" Javid Address the Root of Their Drama During Season 8 Reunion

Part 1 of the Shahs of Sunset Season 8 reunion definitely got emotional when Mercedes "MJ" Javid and Reza Farahan began to discuss their issues, which had played out during the season. And it was during this part of the conversation that Reza shared why the two former BFFs had a falling out, in his opinion.

"That's why MJ and I fell out," Reza said during Part 1, which aired on July 19, referencing the chain of events and MJ's supposed part in it that involved the rumors that has been spreading about his husband, Adam Neely, and the chatter around NSFW texts he was allegedly sending to a mutual acquaintance of the group.

MJ confirmed that she has not spoken to that mutual acquaintance as of late, and when Andy asked the cast to raise their hand if they think she had anything to do with the naked Jenga rumors, she did.

Though as the episode closed out, she thought the focus has been on the wrong aspect of the drama and not enough on the fact that she feels that "you completely abandoned my friendship" as she told the group.

Mike has previously said that he believes he might be the person to get the two former pals to a better place. “I’m still very good friends with both of them,” he said on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen back in April. “I think if anyone can broker a peace deal between these two, it’s me, and I’m going to try my hardest to mend those fences.”
