Michael Rapaport Has a Few Theories About the RHOA Reunion's Most Shocking Moments
"Is it magic?" the Bravo superfan asked Andy Cohen of what's to come at the #RHOA sit-down.
After the supertease for this season's Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion was released, we've been wracking our brains trying to figure out what could have caused so much commotion, so many tears, and some fierce walk-offs. Part 1 of the reunion, which aired last Sunday night, hasn't cleared things up just yet. However, Andy Cohen maybe, possibly teased what's to come during Wednesday's Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen After Show.
With Real Housewives superfan Michael Rapaport in the house, the actor got a lot of questions about his take on the RHOA reunion, which he previously compared to The Godfather on Twitter, including what he thinks has been the most shocking moment so far. "The most shocking part, I feel like, hasn't come," Michael said, to which Andy chimed in, "That's for damn sure."
Michael took the opportunity to ask Andy what we should prepare for, based on that explosive supertease. "Is it magic?" he said. "I'm scared. At first I was like, this is gonna be great. Then I was like, I feel scared for them."
Andy replied to Michael's query, "You mention The Godfather. It's like that."
We have no idea what that means, but we know the rest of the RHOA reunion is going to be epic. Based on what we've seen at the reunion so far, Michael said that he is #TeamKandi all the way. "I'm on Kandi [Burruss]'s side. I love Kandi, and I've always loved Phaedra [Parks], but I feel like what she did with Johnnie [Winston] was rotten and not cool and outside the group," Michael said during the WWHL After Show. "I feel like there's a secret life with Phaedra that she's not revealing. But I have compassion for what she's dealing with."
Michael also dished on another major reunion moment while giving "The Rapa Report" on WWHL earlier in the night. He said that The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion was the "wrong place" for Kim Richards to give the bunny back to Lisa Rinna. "As much as Rinna drives me nuts, if I was her, she should have said, 'You don't want the bunny?'" Michael said. "She should have drop-kicked the bunny in her Victoria Beckham dress and made it bend like Beckham, OK?"
Michael said that Dorit Kemsley's husband PK needs to "chill out" and learn from Peter Thomas' mistake of getting too involved in the ladies' drama on RHOA. He also offered up some words of wisdom for Sonja Morgan in her beef with Dorinda Medley. "It makes me upset. But you know what? You better watch out, because Dorinda is coming for you," Michael said. "And she's coming at weird angles."
And while we're on the subject of The Real Housewives of New York City, Michael weighed in on whether or not Luann and Tom D'Agostino will last as a couple. "I don't want to put any stones into anybody's relationship," he began. "But if I was a betting man, I wouldn't go further than mid-2018."
That made Andy's jaw drop, and we're still picking up ours off the floor. Check out the full shocking moment, below.
