Most Real Housewives approach the reunion at the end of a season with a bit of trepidation. After a season of drama, it can be awkward, at the very least, to reunite and try to resolve conflict. One Real Housewife who didn't take her most recent reunion too seriously was Porsha Williams, who was about ready to give birth at The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 11 reunion. (She ultimately gave birth to daughter Pilar Jhena McKinley on March 22.) With her baby foremost in her thoughts, Porsha didn't sweat the small stuff when it came time to gather and reflect upon the season.
"I didn't know if I could give birth at the reunion because at that point, PJ was full-term, she could've come at any moment, I could've had contractions or whatever," Porsha explained on The Daily Dish podcast. "But I did go into the reunion, I said to myself, you know what, I'm just going to operate in love, I'm going to just be petty, I'm going to joke on people, I'm going to have an opinion on what everybody's got going on, just because you can do that when you're pregnant. Who's going to be able to be mean to you when you're pregnant? So I had a good time; I don't know about the other girls. I had fun at the reunion."
Perhaps one of the reasons Porsha had a good reunion experience was due to the seating arrangements, she explained.
"I love when I sit by Cynthia [Bailey], I have to say," Porsha said. "When we sit next to each other, we are so petty. We be slapping each other, poking each other, like, girl, you heard what she said? And this and that; we had fun. People were definitely bothered but we weren't; we were having a good time."
It's refreshing to hear a Real Housewife describe a reunion as a "good time," isn't it?
