Raquel Leviss Says "It’s Been Difficult" Having More of Her Life Shown on TV
The Vanderpump Rules girlfriend has made appearances on the show since Season 5.
Going from being a civilian to a reality TV star can definitely be an adjustment. Just ask Raquel Leviss. She's made appearances on Vanderpump Rules since Season 5 but is more of a presence now on Season 7, since she and James Kennedy have moved in together. And it hasn't been the easiest season, as several cast members have beef with James, and he even wound up getting fired from SUR after he made a body-shaming comment toward Katie Maloney-Schwartz. The fallout has also affected Raquel; many of the SUR friends she invited to her puppy shower turned down the invitation because of James.
Amid all the tension with the cast, Raquel is reflecting on this season. In an Instagram post, she wrote, "Sitting here thinking of a good caption or something inspiring to say about this season. Honestly, it’s been difficult having little pieces of my life available for anyone to judge or criticize. I don’t know why but I’m the type of person that never judges someone else, yet I am my worst critic."
But there is one person who has been a source of comfort for Raquel: "This guy right here reminds me that none of that really matters. 'Other people’s opinions of you is none of your damn business.' I’ve learned people will always have something to say no matter what decision you make. So guess what, go with the thing that makes YOU the happiest. And for me, that’s [James Kennedy]."
