Why, Yes, Lisa Vanderpump Does Have an Opinion About Raquel’s Date with Peter Madrigal
The Vanderpump Rules boss weighed in on the outing right before both Raquel Leviss and her ex, James Kennedy, were spotted at Coachella.
Lisa Vanderpump has often been a shoulder to cry on as well as the voice of reason and wisdom when it comes to the romantic lives of the Vanderpump Rules crew. And so if you're wondering if she has any opinion about Raquel Leviss' recent date with Peter Madrigal, well, here it is.
Turns out, Lisa has heard all about it, as she revealed in a recent interview with Page Six, and even offered up her take on the matter. "I did! Peter’s a great guy," she said. "Everybody needs a Peter in their lives."
Raquel first opened up about the date during an appearance on Katie Maloney-Schwartz's You're Gonna Love Me podcast earlier this month, where she shared her assessment from the hangout session.
"I went out for drinks with Peter. It was just a fun little time. And I figured this would be a good opportunity for me just to get back out in the dating world, because I haven't had an official date since the breakup. So when he asked me to go grab drinks with him, I was like, 'Hm, OK, sure,'" she said. "It was one friendly date. This [was] literally the first person that asked me on a date, and I said yes because why the hell not? It's good practice after five years. It's scary, but it's also invigorating and exciting."
Peter also spoke to Page Six about the outing, sharing, “It went really well."
Raquel has definitely been keeping busy since her split from James Kennedy in late 2021. She's been working, including getting ready to compete for the title of Miss California in June. She also attended Coachella over the weekend and was spotted hanging out with Ariana Madix (and you know how much the Vanderpump Rules crew loves Coachella).
"Sometimes you have to stop to smell the roses," she captioned one photo from the weekend. In another, she posed with Tom Sandoval and added, "I’m on an island."
As it turns out, James was also spotted at Coachella with his new GF, Ally. He shared a snuggly photo on Instagram and captioned it, "This is my favorite pic from night 1."
