Ramona Singer Is Self-Isolating with Ex-Husband Mario Singer Amid Coronavirus Outbreak
The Real Housewives of New York Cityexes are back together under one roof.
Ramona Singer announced over the weekend that she would be "voluntarily isolating" herself amid concerns about the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. However, The Real Housewives of New York City skincare guru isn't hunkering down alone.
Ramona's daughter, Avery Singer, shared in her recent Instagram Story that she is on a self-quarantine with her mom and her dad, Mario Singer, at his home in Florida. "Another day, another family meal, and you're not gonna believe who I'm with," Avery, who turns 25 in May, teased in a video in her Instagram Story before turning the camera onto Ramona, who said, "I'm self-isolating with Avery's dad."
The clip showed the Singers all sitting at the dinner table having just finished a chicken dish prepared by Mario himself. "He's making dinner every night," Ramona said of her ex-husband, whom she divorced in 2016.
Avery also called the moment "a plot twist for a quarantining squad" in her Instagram Story. "Happy to all be together through this," she wrote.
In another video in her Instagram Story, Avery suggested to her mom that they do a TikTok to pass the time during their self-isolation, which Ramona was all for. "I think that we should post one, it's gonna go viral," Avery said. "Maybe we'll get Dad in the background."
Mario then did a little dance in his seat and snapped his fingers to show that he's game. Sounds like we just found TikTok's newest stars!
Mario returned to RHONY in Season 11, reuniting with Ramona both in the Big Apple and during the girls' trip to Miami. Though several of Ramona's fellow New York Housewives remarked that the exes still had chemistry, she has said that she and Mario will not be getting back together.
Ramona previously opened up about her post-divorce relationship with Mario during an interview with The Daily Dish in April 2019. "I think it's really important for women not to harbor ill will towards their exes. I don't care what they do to you, especially if you share a child," she explained. "And negative energy creates negative things and I got rid of all that negative energy and I forgave him and we're in a good place. We really are."
