Did Anyone Actually "Get Lucky" After Ramona and Sonja's Birthday Party on RHONY? Luann Weighs In
Luann de Lesseps opened up about the man she fell in love with "that nobody knows about" and where she currently stands with Garth on WWHL.
It'll be a long time before we forget the party that Luann de Lesseps threw to celebrate Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan's birthdays in the July 27 episode of The Real Housewives of New York City. However, it was what happened at the very end of the soirée that really caught the attention of fans.
The episode ended with Ramona giving party guest William a hug and talking closely with him on her way out. And in advance of the episode airing, Leah McSweeney posted a rather intriguing message on Instagram, along with some pics from the night. "Happy Birthday [Ramona] and [Sonja]. Tonight we celebrate with x-rated cakes by @eatgoodnyc and random dudes including William!!" Leah wrote in a post on July 27. "Some of us even get lucky after the party but spoiler alert it wasn’t me."
Luann shared her reaction to Leah's Instagram post and commented on whether anything happened between Ramona and William after the party during her July 27 appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. "I still don't know the answer to that question," Luann said. "You're gonna have to ask Ramona."
Andy Cohen assured Luann that he would do just that the next time he welcomed Ramona to the Bravo Clubhouse. However, Ramona has already commented on her RHONY birthday party by showing her gratitude to Luann for throwing the fête in a post on Instagram on July 27. "Thank you [Luann] for hosting a fab bday party for me and Sonja," Ramona gushed.
And if you thought William looked familiar, you'd be right. Not only has he previously hung out with the RHONY ladies on the show, but we've also seen him on Million Dollar Listing New York as Steve Gold's driver. In the July 15 episode of MDLNY, we learned that William has also appeared in cooking videos with Dorinda Medley, where he was notably not wearing a shirt.
When it comes to the men in her life, Luann has always been an open book, and the July 27 WWHL After Show was no exception (clip below). Luann opened up about how many times she has been in love in her life. "I have been in love probably three times in my life. First with a doctor that nobody knows about, because I was a nurse, and it was ages ago. And then with the Count. And then I loved Tom," Luann said of her first husband, Alexandre de Lesseps, and second spouse, Tom D'Agostino.
Andy then asked Luann about some of her other famous former flames, Jacques Azoulay and Harry Dubin. "Oh, I loved Jacques, too. I forgot. I love you, Jacques," Luann said before adding, "No, I was never in love with Harry Dubin. And Jacques and I are still friends. We're like family."
As for Luann's ex, Rey, who made a brief but dramatic appearance on RHONY in Season 8, she told Andy, "No. But nice try."
Luann's latest love interest had been Garth Wakeford, who spent some time with the New York Housewives during their Hamptons trip earlier this season. However, in the July 27 episode of RHONY, Luann revealed to Leah that things had cooled between her and Garth as an article about their relationship appeared in Page Six. "He was not happy, and I feel really bad," Luann told Leah. "We're just kind of laying low. You know, I'm in the city, I didn't see him for Thanksgiving. We're just kind of taking a little break."
She opened up more about the status of her and Garth in an interview during the episode. "Garth and I were not hot and heavy. We were having a good time, we liked each other's company, and we had fun," Luann explained. "It sizzled, and then it kind of fizzled."
But Luann told Leah, "You know, I'm busy, I'm good, I'm happy. And I got a new vibrator."
Luann confirmed her breakup with Garth in April. She reflected more on their romance during the WWHL After Show and responded to Sonja's previous comment that she "only stayed with Garth for his lamb curry." "No, there was more to him than lamb curry," Luann said.
Andy then asked Luann if she and Garth have been in contact as this season of RHONY airs and if he is "annoyed by" the show at all. "No, I don't think he's annoyed," Luann shared. "But we're not really that much in contact, because he has his life, and I kind of have mine. It's all good though."
