The Real Housewives of Miami cast member was a model-actress when she met her soon-to-be ex-husband.
The Real Housewives of Miami's Lisa Hochstein "was a trained dancer and began participating in pageants and modeling at an early age," according to her BravoTV.com bio.
In 2002, the now-Housewife was crowned Miss Swimsuit Canada, according to IMDB, and then made the jump from Toronto to Hollywood. She nabbed a role 2003 television series Playmakers as a “love interest” to Omar Gooding’s character under her maiden name, Mackay, and then a role in the 2004 film Against the Ropes starring Meg Ryan, though the scene was eventually scrapped from the final cut, according to Lisa’s IMDB page. She also had a small role in the star-studded 2006 film The Last Kiss, starring Zach Braff, Casey Affleck, and Blythe Danner. She also appeared on the cover of Playboy's Vixens that year — a decision she later came to regret.
“It’s something I did, but it’s something I wish I didn’t do,” she told HuffPost in 2012. “It’s not something I’m proud of.”
In October 2007, she met Lenny Hochstein while on vacation in Las Vegas and, two months later, relocated to Miami to be with him. They married two years to the day after their first date. They separated in 2022, after 13 years of marriage (and 10 years of RHOM).
