Does Phaedra Parks Have a New Man in Her Life?
The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum certainly looked cozy while ringing in 2019.
A new year has officially begun, and it looks like Phaedra Parks is more than ready to start fresh. Not only does she seem to be in a better place with some of The Real Housewives of Atlanta ladies, but a recent post on Instagram also has us wondering if she's begun a new chapter in her love life as well.
Phaedra celebrated the new year with a photo that showed her cozying up to a mystery man. The RHOA alum captioned the pic published on Instagram on January 1, "2019 we are ready."
The man in the photo appears to be Tone Kapone, who works as a DJ for WGCI Chicago and also appears on Fox 32 Chicago, according to his Instagram bio. He has also contributed to DISH Nation, which notably features Porsha Williams as a host. Phaedra tagged the location of the photo as Chicago.
It's unclear if Phaedra and Tone are an item or if they're just friends (the RHOA alum hasn't confirmed one way or the other). But they sure do look awfully cute together either way!
Fans followed the ups and downs of Phaedra's past marriage to Apollo Nida during her time on RHOA. Phaedra announced her plans to divorce Apollo in October 2014 shortly after he began his 8-year prison sentence for fraud and identity theft. The couple wed in 2009, and they have two sons together, Ayden, 8, and Dylan, 5.
Apollo got engaged to Sherien Almufti in 2016. She later made an appearance in Season 9 of RHOA. Phaedra and Apollo reportedly reached a divorce settlement in July 2017.
