Phaedra Parks' Ex-Husband Apollo Nida Is Back in Custody Just Days After Prison Release
The Real Housewives of Atlanta ex was put back in jail after allegedly breaking a technical condition of his release.
Apollo Nida is back in prison.
The husband of The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Phaedra Parks was taken back into custody by the U.S. Marshals Service just days after he was released from prison, a representative from the U.S. Marshals Service confirmed to Page Six.
“He was taken back into custody. I wouldn’t say it was an arrest because it’s not a new charge. It was an order of the court to bring him into custody,” the representative told Page Six. “We took him to Federal Bureau of Prisons and they will deal with it since he was in their custody."
The representative explained that Apollo had allegedly broken a technical condition of his release. It is unclear what terms of Apollo's release were said to have been violated.
Apollo was released from FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey earlier this month and moved into a halfway house in Philadelphia, where he was expected to stay until the middle of October.
Apollo was taken into custody at the Philadelphia Federal Court House and placed back into the system, according to The Blast. He could now remain in prison until his original release date of October 15, 2019.
He was originally sentenced to eight years in prison for fraud and identity theft in 2014. However, Apollo's sentence was reduced by one year in March 2019.
Though Phaedra has not publicly commented on Apollo's release yet, she did share how she's feeling these days in a post on Instagram on June 11. "Waking up thankful and grateful for my awesome life, fabulous family and friends. Even in my darkest moments God showed up and showed out. No matter what the situation looks like know that there’s a rainbow following the storm. Speak boldly to your mountain and watch it move. Favor follows me. Blessings overtake me. Love surrounds me," she wrote on Instagram. "Affirmations."
