Paris Hilton Addresses the "Thousands of Texts" She Got When Everyone Thought She Was Pregnant

Paris Hilton quickly addressed pregnancy rumors that began to make headlines on Tuesday (July 27), confirming on her podcast and to several outlets that she is not pregnant.

"Woke up to thousands of texts about all the pregnancy news this morning. I want you to hear it all directly from me," she wrote on Instagram, before addressing the gossip on her This Is Paris podcast.

"I also woke up to about 3,000 texts, all my iPhones are blowing up — all five of them — everyone wishing me congratulations and so happy for me and, yes, I've heard from people I haven't heard from in years. Thank you everyone for all the messages. It's a busy day today so I haven't answered anyone yet, but yes, I am pregnant with triplets... I am so excited for motherhood. Actually, I'm just kidding. I am not pregnant, not yet," Paris, who announced her engagement to Carter Reum earlier this year, said on the podcast episode, per PEOPLE. "I am waiting until after the wedding. My dress is being made right now so I want to make sure it looks gorgeous and fits perfectly, so definitely waiting for that part."

There is a timeline for her plans to start a family as Paris shared that she "can't wait to have children in 2022."

Paris previously confirmed that she started IVF treatments, and in a new interview with ET, shared that she often talks about motherhood with her sister, Nicky Hilton Rothschild. "It's just the true meaning of life. It brings you so much joy and so much love that you could never even have imagined before," she said. "So I just can't wait for that day one day."

With that rumor all cleared up, Paris did share a bit about her wedding plans, which will be featured in an upcoming Peacock docuseries, Paris in Love. "There is so much that goes into planning a wedding… no one throws a better party than I do, but a wedding is a whole other level," Paris told Extra.

So, has she narrowed down the guest list? "That’s one of the most stressful parts," Paris said. "With everything that is happening in the world, I’m not going to have that huge, giant wedding that I have always dreamed of; I think it’s going to be more intimate."

The Daily Dish recently chatted with Paris' mom, Kathy Hilton, who joined Season 11 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, about her take on her daughter's upcoming nuptials. "I mean, I would love for her to get married in our church. We just have to see if it all will work out," she said earlier this spring. "I love planning parties and love planning weddings."
