Paige DeSorbo Speaks Out on Rumors She "Cheated" on Craig with Marcello Hernandez
Summer House's Paige DeSorbo revealed what she texted Marcello Hernandez after the speculation took off.
Paige DeSorbo is setting the record straight after a rumor began circulating that she cheated on ex-boyfriend Craig Conover with Saturday Night Live actor Marcello Hernandez.
The Summer House cast member addressed the recent chatter about the demise of her relationship on the January 7 episode of her and Hannah Berner's podcast, Giggly Squad.
"I don’t care about any rumor that is, like, ever said about me..." Paige explained about what's been said about her since she confirmed the split on December 30. "The only thing that I was like, 'OK, can’t, like, let this go by' was because it was a third party involved, was people saying that I cheated on Craig with Marcello. When I first saw that, I died laughing."
Though Paige found the rumor to be funny, she soon felt a bit differently.
"I felt weird. I was like, 'I feel like I have to text Marcello cause like what if he sees it?'" she continued. "'What if he has a girlfriend?'"
So, Paige went ahead and reached out to Marcello. As she recalled, "I just texted him. I was like, ‘Hey, just want to let you know, there was a rumor going around that I cheated on my boyfriend with you.'"
Marcello apparently responded with a lighthearted "f-ck yeah" before the two continued to discuss the rumors.
"He was sending me screenshots of DMs he was getting from people like, 'Yeah, we f-----g hate you now, like you're the reason,'" Paige explained. "And I was like, 'Marcello, I’m so f-----g sorry. This is so embarrassing.' And no one involved was defending me, which I found interesting."

Yes. While denying that she cheated on Craig with Marcello on the Jan. 7 episode of her podcast, Paige insisted she views Marcello as a little brother. She also revealed she's only ever texted him "one-on-one" when she wanted to get into an SNL after party. Otherwise, they've mostly spoken in their group chat with Hannah.

Craig publicly addressed the breakup for the first time in an Instagram Story video posted on Jan. 7.
"I figured it's finally time to check in with everyone. Sorry about the delay. This has all been very, very unexpected, to say the least," the Southern Charm cast member said. "But I guess life has to, I gotta start living it, whatever that looks like. Whatever my new normal looks like, I have to start."
Craig went on to admit that he was surprised by the split, which he said happened right before the holidays.
"Gratitude will get you through this. [With] time comes clarity, all of the advice I'm trying to listen to. Right before the holidays, I was very shocked and it's OK. It takes two people to be in a relationship and you can't control other people," he added. "You can only control how you react to it. So, gonna be kind to Paige and me and yourselves and all of that good stuff. I am still processing everything, which is normal. I mean, [it was a] 3-year relationship; it's your best friend who you talk to all day every day; and then they're just gone."
The Charleston resident went on to thank fans for their support, and he noted that "everything happens for a reason."
Did Paige DeSorbo break up with Craig?
Paige said on the December 30 episode of her podcast that she and Craig "decided to no longer be together."
"No one did anything, it wasn't like a bad thing," she added. "I think we both were being mature and just saying what we want and what we didn't want. And I think that's extremely powerful to be able to voice how you're feeling in real time and what you want for your future."
