Craig Conover Just Shared a New Look at His Life Today (PHOTO)
A week after his split from Paige DeSorbo was confirmed, Craig shared a look at what he's been up to.
Craig Conover is starting 2025 off like many others — by spending some time at the gym.
The Southern Charm-er took to his Instagram Story on January 6 to share a look at him completing a workout with a 55-lb (!) dumbbell.
Aside from tagging the gym space, Gretzky's Basement (which was founded by Wayne Gretzky's sons), the Sewing Down South founder didn't write anything alongside the photo. He did, however, have a song, "Rum Is for Drinking Not for Burning" by Senses Fail playing in the background of the Instagram Story post.
Craig's workout post comes a week after his split from his longtime girlfriend, Paige DeSorbo, was confirmed.
What has Craig Conover said about his breakup from Paige?
Craig addressed his split from Paige in a video statement shared to Instagram Stories on Jan. 7.
"I figured it's finally time to check in with everyone. Sorry about the delay. This has all been very, very unexpected, to say the least. But I guess life has to, I gotta start living it, whatever that looks like. Whatever my new normal looks like," he said "I have to start. Gratitude will get you through this. [With] time comes clarity, all of the advice I'm trying to listen to. Right before the holidays, I was very shocked and it's OK. It takes two people to be in a relationship and you can't control other people. You can only control how you react to it. So I'm gonna be kind to Paige and me and yourselves and all of that good stuff. I am still processing everything, which is normal. I mean [it was a] 3-year relationship; it's your best friend who you talk to all day every day; and then they're just gone."
He went on to share what's next as he navigates the breakup. "So, one day I'll be able to talk more on it, but right now I just wanted to thank everyone for their kind messages. It has been really nice to read them and it's just life," he said. "I have to take my own advice that I give when I go around and speak at these home shows that no one's ever not better off after a breakup, but I guess now I got to practice what I preach and believe it and truly have faith in God that everything happens for a reason. But I love you all and I'll see everyone on my travels this January. We got a lot coming up."
The pair began dating in 2021 after initially meeting at a party featured on Summer House Season 4.
Why did Craig Conover and Paige DeSorbo break up?
Paige announced her split from her boyfriend of three years on the December 30 episode of her and Hannah Berner's podcast, Giggly Squad. Paige said that the two realized that they wanted different things out of life (she is based in New York City, while Craig lives in Charleston).
"I want to feel like I'm being vulnerable and authentic, specifically to the Gigglers, but I also want to be classy about it and say everything in the correct way, because I don't want things to be misconstrued that we hate each other, or something happened, or whatever," Paige said on Giggly Squad. "It's really just two people growing and changing and things that they want in their lives changing."
Because there wasn't one major thing that caused the split, Paige said that it's been much "harder" to navigate.
"He's definitely the best boyfriend I've ever had," the fashionista continued on the podcast. "Like, I can truly say that. He was a great boyfriend, and he did everything correct. He never made me feel insecure or anything like that. So, it almost is harder when nobody's done anything to be mad about. And that's hard."
Viewers saw moments from Paige and Craig's romance on Summer House, Southern Charm, and Winter House. The relationship is also featured in the trailer for Season 9 of Summer House, which premieres on February 12. Watch the trailer for the new season below.
