Paige DeSorbo Weighs in on Kyle and Amanda's Marriage Drama: "I'm Gonna Stick Up for My Friend"
The podcast host is weighing in on her Summer House cast member's marriage drama surrounding their careers.
Throughout Season 8 of Summer House, Paige DeSorbo did not hold back on weighing in on Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula's relationship.
The Giggly Squad podcast host was not afraid to call Kyle out — as seen in the video above — or support Amanda and her dreams. After Amanda had expressed wanting to take a break from Kyle's business, Loverboy, to start her own bikini line, Paige supported her while Kyle had a more emotional reaction.
During a recent appearance on the podcast, Chicks in the Office, Paige continued to weigh in on this conflict in Kyle and Amanda's marriage. And she didn't hold back at all with her statements.
Paige DeSorbo's comments on disagreeing with Kyle Cooke & supporting Amanda Batula's dreams
In Season 8 Episode 13 of Summer House, Paige supported Amanda's desire to take a break from her position at Loverboy. "She's going to get so unhappy," Paige told Kyle. "And then you're going to lose your marriage because of a company?"
Paige spoke about this conversation during a June 7 appearance on Chicks in the Office, noting that it was only natural for her to support her friend. "I feel like I started that conversation out very like, 'Well this is how she feels.' I didn't raise my voice at all and I was like, 'How did you not know this about your wife?' She's the coolest," she said.

She noted that if Amanda did start her own bikini line, she would be successful. "And also, anything Amanda put out, people would buy it," Paige said. "Amanda has always talked about bikinis. She always had issues with bikinis so it made sense. And so I was just like, 'I'm gonna stick up for my friend."
Paige continued to sing her praises about Amanda, noting that she's a "real good friend." "Here's the thing about Amanda that I don't think people realize...Amanda does not have a hidden agenda at all," she said. "She's not coming in to be friends with you, to benefit from something, she's not talking about you to someone else because she has some plan. She genuinely is the chillest f—cking girl."
Kyle Cooke's thoughts on Amanda Batula's bikini line
During an episode of the Summer House After Show, Kyle revealed why he was so against Amanda venturing out to start her own business while he pursues his dreams of being a DJ.
"There's going to be all sorts of opportunities for us to follow our passions, interests, and hobbies," he explained. "And hopefully a lot of things turn into money-making machines — some of them don't have to — [but] that's what I want."
He continued, "The irony here is I was excited to hear that Amanda wants to pursue these things, I just didn't have it in me in that moment to be like, 'Yay!' because I'm living in a different reality with really high stakes. And I thought she understood."
