Padma Lakshmi Shares an Update on What Her Co-Parenting Life Looks Like
The Bravo's Top Chef judge shares a 10-year-old daughter with Adam Dell.
Padma Lakshmi is one proud mama who frequently gives fans an inside peek at what her life as a mom looks like — and now, she's offering an update on co-parenting her 10-year-old daughter with venture capitalist Adam Dell
“I don’t know that there is a perfect balance. Every day is different," she recently told Us Weekly.
The parents spent Father's Day together with their child, with the Bravo's Top Chef host sharing a sweet homage to her kid's dad. "So this is what fatherhood looks like...... Little Hands and Big Foot. Father's Day 2020," she wrote alongside a dance video of the father-daughter pair. "But seriously, thank you so much for always being there for [our daughter] Krishna and for me."
She elaborated more about that holiday to Us Weekly, noting that they “just hung out."
Padma added, “We didn’t do anything so elaborate. … Krishna set up a scavenger hunt for him to find all his little presents and then he had a couple of friends over with their kids just to play outside in a socially appropriate way.”
And while Adam does appear to have some musical talents (as evidenced by the shirtless video Padma recently shared of him on Instagram), Padma noted their little girl is “the real star in the family."
Padma added to the publication, "I’m a fan of my daughter’s creativity. She is wildly entertaining and funny and a great singer. … Krishna’s hysterical. I have to resist the temptation to put her on my social media all the time because I don’t think that’s right, but it’s hard because she’s really, genuinely funny!”
And she's pretty good at getting her mama to hit the dance floor as well. We wonder how much they danced when they found out about Top Chef's multiple 2020 Emmy nominations, including one for Padma (with Tom Colicchio!).
