Olivia Flowers Shares an Update on Her Wedding Planning: "It's Overwhelming"
The Southern Charm alum also revealed if her former castmates will get invited to her and Alex Williams' wedding.
The excitement surrounding an engagement often motivates couples to dive into the wedding planning process. But that wasn’t the case for Olivia Flowers and her beau.
The Southern Charm alum confirmed this during a recent interview with Us Weekly, just two months after accepting Alex Williams’ marriage proposal.
“I’m gonna be texting you soon to get some help because it’s overwhelming,” Olivia joked at Kathy Hilton’s annual holiday party. “But I’ve only barely scraped the surface of wedding plans. We’re just kind of staying in the engagement bliss for right now.”

Olivia announced her engagement on October 3, about a year and a half after she and Alex confirmed their relationship. The marketing expert spoke about the romance during a November 2023 appearance on Nick Viall’s Viall Files podcast, explaining how she and the Texas-based businessman first crossed paths.
“He’s from Dallas. We met at a wedding,” she said in the episode. “I was my dad’s date to a wedding, and [my dad] was late to it and he had a business meeting. So I’m walking into this wedding by myself — late — and [Alex] was the usher and he’s like, ‘Can I walk you down the aisle?’ I was like, ‘It’s a little soon, but OK. I’m just kidding.’”

It was a prophetic introduction, to say the least. Less than a year after the Viall Files episode, Olivia was rocking a stunning engagement ring from Nicole Rose Jewelry. The piece featured a 4-carat oval-shaped diamond and an 18k yellow gold band.
“Nicole, I’m glad you had a feeling this proposal was coming before I did,” Olivia captioned a photo of the sparkler. “[T]hank you for creating our dream ring.”
Will Olivia invite any Southern Charm-ers to her wedding?
Although she hasn’t locked down her wedding plans, Olivia is already thinking about the ceremony guest list, which may or may not include her former castmates.
“It depends where we do it,” Olivia told Us Weekly after being asked if the Southern Charm-ers would receive invites. “If we’re gonna do it more local, then of course. But if we do a destination [wedding] it’ll probably be more intimate.”

Olivia exited Southern Charm after Season 9, which documented the aftermath of her and Austen Kroll’s dramatic breakup. Since then, Austen entered another relationship with Audrey Pratt, an IT recruiter he met in the summer of 2023.
The Trop Hop founder shed more light on the romance during the Southern Charm Season 10 premiere, revealing his and Audrey’s pet names for each other.
“There’s pooks, there’s pookie monster, there’s pookapotamous,” he said in a confessional. “It’s still weird to tell people, like, ‘Hey, this is my girlfriend. This is my girlfriend, Audrey.’ You know, for me definitely it is a big step.”
