New O.C. 'Wife Peggy Tanous "Didn't Clash with Anyone"

It's not easy being the new girl (just ask Alexis Bellino), but The Real Housewives of Orange County's newest member Peggy Tanous insists, "I didn't clash with anyone! I got along with everyone."

Granted, we have an inkling of what happens in the upcoming season (it's our show, after all), but with the announcement of her addition to the cast, Peggy is giving a taste of what lies ahead. (Check out photos of this season's OC Housewives.) Beefing up the show's blonde contingent, 41-year-old Peggy tells Us Weekly that she had a slightly smoother transition into the SoCal group thanks to her already existing friendship with Alexis. "When Alexis got on the show, we saw her, and my husband said, 'Maybe this is something you should try,'" the former swimsuit model and TV host tells the magazine.

Although she's not butting heads much, that doesn't mean this housewife comes drama free. "People call me 'Feisty Peggy,' and I can definitely be feisty! I'm an Aries [with a] very strong personality. Friends say I'm the life of the party," spills the mother of two.

That astrological trait came in handy when bonding with original cast member Vicki Gunvalson. "Vicki and I are both Aries! So when I met her, I was like 'You have got to be great because you're an Aries, because I'm an Aries and I'm great!'" In spite of her zodiac connection with the O.C. Housewife veteran, Peggy became cast BFFs with Tamra Barney because of their similar personalities.

All in all, treading into the spotlight proved to be therapeutic for the stay-at-home mom who battled postpartum depression. "It was kind of a perfect way for me to kind of get me back in the swing of things, but not take me away from my family too much."
