Nene Leakes Has a Final Message for This Housewife Following the RHOA Season 12 Reunion
The Real Housewives of Atlanta OG was absent from the conclusion of the virtual reunion.
Nene Leakes may not have returned to The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 12 reunion after exiting her seat at the end of Part 2, but she did make her thoughts on the conclusion of the sit-down very clear on social media.
Nene reflected on the first-ever RHOA virtual reunion as it came to a close on May 24 and had nothing but love for how Porsha Williams handled all the drama with the Atlanta Housewives. "Looks like my lil sis @porsha4real held it all the way down! Thank you P for keeping it real, standing up and having my back like a G," Nene gushed in a post on Instagram on May 24. "Y'all go show Porsha some love tonight #bigsislilsis #dynamicduo Pow."
The RHOA OG shared during a recent interview with ET that she even called Porsha after her first reunion walk-off to give her some major props for her reads. "When I closed the computer and they ended up going to lunch break, I called Porsha. That was the first time we talked about it," Nene shared. "I called her and I said, 'Porsha, I gotta tell you, girl, you are in there, you are killing it. When we go back, you just sit back and be quiet and let me take it from there.' We decided we're gonna tag team their a** and let's go! And I think the people were here for the tag team."
Nene previously explained that "it only felt right to personally REMOVE MYSELF from the reunion" in another post on Instagram on May 17. Nene said that she felt like she was really being grilled during the reunion even though plenty of other drama had gone down during the season, including The Cookie Lady, Porsha and Kenya Moore's relationship drama, and Snakegate. "All this and so much more felt like the rules only applied to me and that I was being held to a different standard than others," Nene said in the post. "But you continue to be the judge."
As for Porsha, she seemed to be feeling pretty great about how the reunion went on her end. "'I’m not bitter I’m better.' That’s on period Pooh!" Porsha sassily declared on Instagram on May 24. "Dat's a wrap on #Rhoa Virtual Reunion."
