Does Eva Marcille Give Nene Leakes Credit for Introducing Her to The Real Housewives of Atlanta?
Eva Marcille said she was speaking "the truth of it all" on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
During Part 2 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 11 reunion, the question of loyalty came up as the ladies discussed Tanya Sam's growing distance from Nene Leakes, who had introduced her to her fellow Georgia Peaches, and her increasing closeness to Eva Marcille. Tanya's title even literally changed on the show this season from "Nene's friend" to "Eva's friend."
Marlo Hampton then remarked that Eva's title seemed to change, too. "When I came on this show, and I called [Nene] 'sis,'" Eva said in response. "But be clear, Nene has no responsibility for Eva Marcille, now Sterling, sitting on this couch."
When Eva appeared on WWHL on Sunday night, one caller went a little bit further and asked the model if she gives "Nene credit for bringing you on the show?" Eva didn't exactly agree with the fan's statement, explaining that Nene was the only person she knew in the RHOA crew when she started hanging out with the ladies in Season 10, which you can check out in the above clip.
"That's just the truth of it all, and [Nene] knows it," Eva shared. "She might have helped other people acquire a peach, but she got no fruit salad from me."
Eva and Nene's relationship did not appear to be in the place it once was during Part 2 of the RHOA Season 11 reunion Sunday night. "I thought we were [friends], but I learned while watching the show, we weren't," Eva said during the reunion.
Nene then added, "What do you mean we weren't friends? Girl, I had your back so much on this show, are you serious?" Eva then said she felt like she had to "act like a lapdog" to Nene in order for them to be friends.
It looks like Eva and Nene have a lot more to hash out when they sit down for Part 3 of the RHOA Season 11 reunion Sunday at 8/7c. Catch a sneak peek, below.
