The Southern Charm cast member shared in her Instagram Stories that she lost her cat Z, whom she had adopted with then-boyfriend Craig Conover, on Monday, February 3. "My sweet Z went to meet my dad in the sky last night after having a massive stroke," Naomie wrote, along with a photo of her dad holding her cat.

Her Instagram Stories also featured a video of her dad playing with her cat as her mom, Carole Olindo, lovingly looks on. Naomie also revealed that she lost her parents' dog a few weeks before her dad's passing.

The Charmer then reflected on her recent hardships. "Life has a way of kicking you when you're down. Don't be a victim to it," Naomie wrote in her Instagram Story. "My dad always said bad things tended to happen to our family in a sequence of three. I'm hoping after this, 2020 will be all good things from here."

She also shared some powerful words of wisdom with her fans. "Just a reminder: It's okay if your life isn't how you pictured it would be in this very moment. It's also okay if you're struggling, if you're down, and if your life doesn't seem as perfect or as fun as some others make theirs seem to be on the Internet," Naomie wrote. "Remember that pretending to be anything (happy, okay, fulfilled, etc.) is never the right thing. What's more important is being truthful and vulnerable with people. That will always get you to the right place. Karma is real, struggling is normal, and talking about it is the answer."

Naomie's father passed away on December 20, 2019 after a 12-month battle with esophageal cancer. She returned to Instagram after taking a break from social media, sharing a heartbreaking post about how much she misses her dad.
