It's all been building up to this: The battle between the Giudices and the Gorgas was a hot topic all season long on the Real Housewives of New Jersey as Teresa Giudice and Joe took real steps toward ending their families' war of words (and fists) everywhere from a rural retreat to a scorching desert. On tonight's episode, Melissa Gorga and her husband Joe questioned local gossip Penny Drossos, demanding to know why she was in touch with Teresa— and whether she was behind rumors Melissa had cheated on her husband—and the situation escalated quickly.
Why does Penny have Teresa's numbers in her cell phone? "She gave it to me," Drossos insists. "Oh really, get your phone! Pull up my text-ses," Teresa squeals in response, inventing a new plural form of "texts." "Show them!"

Penny claims there are no texts to show the group because she doesn't save them. "Why, what do you do, delete them?" Teresa screeches. "I save all my text-ses. What a coincidence, she doesn't save her text-ses, oh my God!"
It seemed like the confrontation had hit its peak with Teresa's shrieks, but then Penny's husband Johnny – who Joe Gorga has accused of sending damaging tweets—hit the scene.
