Michelle Lally Finally Clarifies *That* Texting Rumor: “I Met a Celebrity..”
"I have texted multiple people," MIchelle Saniei Lally admitted on The Valley after being confronted about rumors she was talking to other men.
Michelle Saniei Lally is finally breaking her silence on The Valley about those texting rumors — and she has a surprising response.
For much of the first season of the series, rumors have swirled about the luxury real estate agent and whether or not she had been texting a man (other than husband Jesse) steamy photos of herself.
The persistent rumors about Michelle and an unknown “director” prompted castmate Kristen Doute to reveal to producers earlier this season — out of the earshot of the rest of the cast — that Michelle had a secret “boyfriend” for a year. Meanwhile, her texting habits have been the topic of discussion between many members of the cast.
But for much of the show Michelle had yet to weigh in on the controversy and seemed unaware of the gossip that swirled around her.

That all changed in the final moments of Episode 9, when Jax Taylor took her aside to confront her about the allegations.

“Oh, Michelle, I just want to get this off my chest because I’ve known this for too long, I’ve got to get this off,” Jax told her as the two stepped outside onto the deck of the group’s massive Big Bear vacation rental.
“What? You’re scaring me,” Michelle replied.
Jax proceeded to tell her that an intoxicated Kirsten Doute had let it slip three or four months earlier during a girls night at his house that Michelle had been texting a “particular person on the side.”
“I know what kind of person Kristen is when she gets to the bottom of the barrel,” Jax prefaced the discussion. “She would do whatever she can to ruin people’s lives and I want you to get ahead of it.”
What did Michelle Lally tell Kristen Doute about another man?
Michelle acknowledged that she had told Kristen about someone she was texting in the past.
“I did tell her like, ‘Oh, I met this celebrity and uh, I was texting with him and I had coffee with him one morning,'" she said.
But Jax implied that the rumors he heard were that her texts were not so innocent.
“She told me that you were texting this man, oh God, I hate doing this, Michelle,” he stammered.
“What?” Michelle prompted him.
“Like, sexy pictures of yourself,” Jax finished.
After a brief pause, Michelle replied, “She is right. I have texted multiple people.”
The episode ended before Michelle was able to further explain what she meant by the shocking comment, but a preview of the upcoming episode showed her talking about the rumor with Jesse.
“I told you I had coffee once,” she said.
“And you were sending him sexy pictures?” Jesse asked.
Are Jesse and Michelle Lally Still Together?
The couple, who share 4-year-old daughter Isabella Bunny, announced they were divorcing in March just days before the premiere of The Valley.
Since then, both have moved on from the relationship and are dating new people.
Michelle did address the texting rumors in a recent conversation with The Daily Dish.
She explained that “networking and building relationships” is a key part of her job in real estate, and although she declined to identify the celebrity in question who prompted all the speculation on the show, she insisted her texting had been for work.
“There were a lot of actors and actresses and directors, and just wealthy individuals that I meet on a constant basis,” she explained. “And I think that was very twisted in a lot of ways.”
