Mercedes “MJ” Javid Is on Mandatory Bedrest Pre-Baby
Still, that didn’t stop the Shahs of Sunset mommy-to-be from posting the most adorable Insta caption for her husband, Tommy Feight’s birthday.
Is it just us, or do Mercedes “MJ” Javid and Tommy Feight have the cutest love story ever? After their dreamlike wedding in April, the Shahs of Sunset couple soon announced that they were expecting their first child. And with just a few months to go (the baby is due on Mother’s Day), the mommy-to-be posted a sweet photo wishing her hubby a happy birthday.
In a series of two photos posted to Instagram, the loved-up newlywed showed both current and throwback pics of the couple—and they look so smitten with each other in both, it’s hard not to feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Their playful arm gestures and loving eye contact is just total relationship goals.
“Happy birthday to my baby,” wrote Mercedes in the super sweet caption. “We definitely don’t have nearly enough photos together but we’re going to change that going forward. This is the man who I waited to meet. The one who tamed me, as wild and untamable as I was, until he came along. He knew before I did that we were meant to be. Nowadays, I wake him up with smiles, giggles knowing that no matter where I am, that I’m with him.” Aww, right?!
But it wasn’t all adorable declarations of love in the post, unfortunately. Mercedes went on to write, “Today his birthday might suck as I am on mandatory bedrest but he assures me that so long as we are together that’s the only place he wants to be.” While we don’t know what happened, it’s possible it might be related to Mercedes’s baby. After all, she’s been very open about how she’s had to go through IVF to help improve her chances of pregnant, so we know it’s been a hard journey for her. No matter what, though, it seems she’s going to spend a happy, romantic day with Tommy regardless.
