Melissa Gorga’s 16th Birthday Tribute for Her Son Gino Might Make You Tear Up

Melissa Gorga's kids are growing up so fast! The Real Housewives of New Jersey mama just saw her eldest child, Antonia Gorga, off to college in Delaware. Then, before we knew it, the Envy Boutique owner was celebrating a milestone birthday for her middle child, Gino. Believe it or not, Gino Gorga is 16 years old! And his mother made his 16th birthday extra sweet with a message that might make you tear up.
Over the years, Melissa and Joe Gorga have both shared updates on their athletic son. Let's not forget: Back in 2018, Gino won the Tri-County Youth Wrestling Tournament — for the second year in a row!
At the time, Melissa shared a photo of her beaming trophy holder, along with a caption: "We are so proud of you Gino! Our little champ." Gino's commitment to the sport has endured.
Earlier this year, Joe shared a video of his son in “beast mode” at a wrestling match. “That’s my boy,” Joe wrote proudly. “Just like his daddy.” But on September 12, Gino took a break from beast mode and went into birthday mode.

To caption a September 12 Instagram post, Melissa wrote: "My Gino. How are you 16 today?! Your focus. Your drive. Your direction. Your athleticism. And your kindness to other people are just a few of the things that make me so proud. You’re a gentleman in every aspect. Happy Birthday my son. I love calling myself your mom."
The post was accompanied by a carousel of mother-son photos. Various snaps showed Melissa and Gino at a game together, driving around town, and relaxing on vacation. There was also an adorable picture of the whole Gorga family, huddling together on the deck of their famous Jersey Shore home.

Gino's milestone birthday came a month after his sister Antonia turned 18. On the August 12 occasion, Melissa took to Instagram to share another sweet birthday wish.
“I simply can’t believe you’re 18. I’m gonna cry all day,” Melissa captioned her heartfelt post. “Watching you grow up has been such a blessing. You are my only baby girl and I will cherish you forever. Spread your wings and fly."
At the time, Antonia was preparing to enter her freshman year at the University of Delaware. "In just a few weeks my house will never be the same," Melissa reflected. "I’m so proud of you! Happy birthday my beautiful girl [Antonia Gorga]. love u more than you know.”
Melissa and Joe's youngest son, Joey Jr., is also making great strides. On August 14, Melissa shared photos of her son on the football field, ramping up for a new season. “My [heart],” the proud mama captioned the pic.
