Melissa Gorga Responds After Teresa Giudice Seemingly Shades Sprinkle Cookie Business

RHONJ's Melissa Gorga reacted and shared more about Sprinkle by MG on WWHL

When Melissa Gorga announced that she would be releasing a line of sprinkle cookies, Sprinkle by MG, she seemed to get a bit of a shady response from her sister-in-law, Teresa Giudice.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of New Jersey on Peacock and the Bravo app.

"You're welcome," Teresa wrote, potentially about her estranged family member, on X (formerly known as Twitter) on December 10.

Melissa then addressed Teresa's comment on the December 18 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen

"Well, she's welcome for giving her someone to hate on for the last decade," the mom of three said about husband Joe Gorga's sister. "So, she's welcome."

"You've both done so much for each other," host Andy Cohen pointed out.

As Bravo fans know, Melissa and Teresa have not been on speaking terms since RHONJ Season 13, but the sprinkle cookie moment took place many years earlier.

What did Teresa Giudice say about Melissa Gorga's sprinkle cookies on RHONJ Season 3?

In case you need a refresher, back on Season 3 of RHONJ, Teresa shared why she got upset at Melissa for bringing sprinkle cookies to her house for a family gathering.

"She came to my house Christmas day, she brought me sprinkle cookies. I said to her, 'Melissa, nobody touched the cookies you brought. I threw them in the garbage. You know what my favorite cookies are? Pignoli cookies.' That's what I said," Teresa recounted.

More than a decade after Teresa and Melissa discussed their dessert snafu on RHONJ, the Envy by Melissa Gorga owner decided to create her own line of sprinkle cookies.

"Introducing Sprinkle by MG! My passion for sprinkle cookies is finally available for you!" she wrote on Instagram on December 9. "With [Sprinkle by MG] The ultimate sprinkle butter cookie that’s as chic as it is delicious! Trust me... you will NOT want to throw these in the garbage."

The first orders for Melissa's brand went out on December 12. She opened up about why the timing felt right to release the cookies now on WWHL.

"Timing is everything, Andy. Timing is everything," Melissa said. "It is the best timing. Everything happens for a reason, I really believe in that. And I think people really just miss [The Real Housewives of New] Jersey, so, you know, they are so excited for this. I'm so happy that SprinkleByMG.com is gonna be in everyone's home for Christmas. I'm very excited, thank you."
