Melissa Gorga Reveals Her True Motivation For Launching Sprinkle by MG Now
RHONJ's Melissa Gorga explained why launching the brand now is "the best timing."
Melissa Gorga just launched her sprinkle cookie company, Sprinkle by MG, right in time for the holidays — but why exactly did she decide to create the business now instead of years ago when it was mentioned on The Real Housewives of New Jersey?
On the December 18 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, host Andy Cohen asked this exact question.
"Timing is everything, Andy. Timing is everything," Melissa responded. "It is the best timing. Everything happens for a reason, I really believe in that."
The mom of three went on to note that that interest is likely higher than ever because fans are missing RHONJ (Season 14 wrapped in August 2024).
"And I think people really just miss [The Real Housewives of New] Jersey, so, you know, they are so excited for this. I'm so happy that SprinkleByMG.com is gonna be in everyone's home for Christmas," she continued. "I'm very excited, thank you."

Sprinkle bg MG is Melissa's sprinkle cookie line that she launched on December 9, 2024.
"Introducing Sprinkle by MG!" Melissa wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of her posing with the cookies while confetti floated in the air. "My passion for sprinkle cookies is finally available for you! With [Sprinkle by MG], The ultimate sprinkle butter cookie that’s as chic as it is delicious! Trust me... you will NOT want to throw these in the garbage."
Melissa Gorga reveals her future plans for Sprinkle by MG
A few days after launching her new brand, Melissa took to her Instagram again to reveal that she ultimately wants to pass the company down to her only daughter, Antonia Gorga.
"Being able to show my daughter the power of hard work is more fulfilling than anything," Melissa wrote. "Having her watch me build businesses right in front of her eyes that hopefully one day will become hers is the magic of it all."
What does Melissa Gorga do for a living?
In addition to operating her new sprinkle cookie business, Melissa also owns two Envy by Melissa Gorga boutiques (one in New Jersey, and the other on Long Island).
She threw a holiday party for some of the employees at her stores earlier in December.
"My Team. I am so grateful for every one of you. (Missing a few)," she wrote in the caption of her Instagram post. "[Envy by Melissa Gorga]. What a year it has been. Thank you."
