Meghan King Edmonds Reveals Her Son May Have a Neurological Disorder Amid Husband's Cheating Scandal
The RHOC alum opens up about the current situation involving her family.
When Meghan King Edmonds addressed the cheating allegations involving her husband, Jim Edmonds, on her blog, she also confirmed another set of obstacles she's dealing with: She revealed one of her twin sons, Hart, may have a neurological disorder.
The Real Housewives of Orange County alum did not go into details, but did briefly mention it in her emotional blog post about the current state of her family.
"And all of this could not have come at a worse time. Again, something I wasn’t ready to share but here I am sharing it: we are worried our son, Hart, might have a neurological disorder. It’s been the most trying last couple months of my entire life and we still don’t have answers," she said about her 1-year-old son. "Sometimes I leave the house after the kids go to bed so I can drive around and ugly cry in the dark with no one around. Now I have this to deal with: my one true love betraying me in the most disgusting and public way possible."
Hart and twin brother Hayes were born last June. Meghan frequently shares updates about her sons, as well as their big sister, Aspen. However, this is the first time she's addressed this possible health concern about her son.
Last week, Meghan and Jim addressed his alleged infidelity, which reportedly took place in March 2018 while she was pregnant with their twins. He released a statement to Us Weekly and also spoke to TMZ Sports about the incident, which he called "a weak moment."
This October marks Meghan and Jim's five-year wedding anniversary.
As for Meghan, she seems hopeful about their future: "I am a victim, but I am not defined by this. I need space to heal," she wrote. "Ultimately, I have hope our marriage can recover."
