Kelly Dodd Wanted Meghan King Edmonds to "Drink It Up" Before She Got Pregnant
"That baby becomes your whole life," the #RHOC newbie told The Daily Dish.
Even though the sushi dinner party in the latest episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County ended with tears and dropped jaws, it was the thought that counts, right? The whole point of the shindig originally was to help Meghan King Edmonds have one last hurrah before she became pregnant.
Although Kelly Dodd was at the center of the conflict during the soiree, she really wanted to help Meghan celebrate her last day before becoming a mom. "I really wanted Meghan to have a good time, drink it up now because you're not going to be drinking for almost a year, so just enjoy your life now before the baby comes because that baby becomes your whole life," she told The Daily Dish earlier this summer (clip above). "It's not about you anymore, it's about the baby. So that's the only thing I could think of, get everything out now before you have this person that you're responsible for."
But Kelly assures Meghan that the good times have just begun now that she's pregnant. "Have fun with it. Have a great time. Enjoy the pregnancy. Get some sleep now, because you're not gonna be sleeping later. Just have a good time, and enjoy your baby."
And Kelly knows a thing or two about motherhood since she's mom to daughter Jolie. Kelly previously told The Daily Dish that she's enjoying seeing her her adorable 9-year-old on RHOC this season. "It's like second nature to her," she said.
