Josh Flagg and Bobby Boyd Have Finalized Their Divorce
The former Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles couple announced their split just over one year ago.
Josh Flagg and Bobby Boyd's marriage has officially come to an end.
According to ET, the former couple finalized their divorce on Tuesday, March 28. Bobby later confirmed the news by issuing a statement, which began, "Falling in love with Josh was one of the special times in my life I will never forget. I am sad the way our marriage ended, but everyone deserves to be truly happy and go after whatever it is that will make that happen."
Bobby then referenced Josh's current relationship with boyfriend Andrew Beyer, adding, "I’m happy for Josh that he has found the love of his life with his boyfriend Andrew. Most of all I miss his friendship and hope one day we can reconnect and talk about the good times.”
The update comes just over a year after Josh and Bobby first announced that they'd be going their separate ways after five years of marriage. As Josh wrote in a statement at the time, "Bobby and I are divorcing. This might sound abrupt but I felt I should be transparent from the top rather than bury the headline."
Josh insisted that the decision to split "was not a rash or impulsive" one. "We have been very thoughtful before coming to this conclusion," he continued. "It was not a lack of love but rather the two of us growing in different directions and wanting very different things for ourselves. I care deeply about Bobby and have nothing but love and respect for him. I want how we separate from each other to represent that."
The divorce, as well as the formation of Josh's new relationship, played out on Season 14 of Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles. Bobby made several appearances, as did Andrew, who Josh began dating in May 2022.
Today, Josh and Andrew live together and have not only discussed marriage, but also actively taken steps toward saying "I do."
"Let me put it to you this way: Obviously we're not getting married tomorrow, but we have looked at wedding venues quite possibly on different vacations," Josh told PEOPLE in November. "And [we] met with the planners and they were probably thinking, 'Oh, so when's the date?'"
The answer to that question? "We don't know," Andrew added. "We're just looking."
Josh gave E! News another update on the relationship in December, describing it as "very healthy" and "very strong."
